You do not have to be a clinician to back this.

Women in health carry knowledge that most people never get near, and the system gives them almost no way to get it out. If that bothers you too, there are a few simple ways to help.

Fly the flag

Put it behind you on your next call.

Ready for Zoom, Teams or Meet. Download it, put it on, and the next room you are in knows what you stand behind. Free, no signup, use it however you like.

Coral and gold Zoom background with the Accelerate Her Health logo.

The Accelerate Her Health background

1920 by 1080, static, and clear through the middle so it sits behind you rather than around your head.

How to set it up
  1. Save the background image to your computer.
  2. Open the Zoom desktop app and sign in.
  3. Click your profile picture top right, then Settings. On newer versions there is a gear icon instead.
  4. Go to Video and effects, then Virtual backgrounds.
  5. Click the plus or Add button and choose Add Image.
  6. Pick the background file you just saved.
  7. Click it once and it becomes your background straight away.
It will look back to front to you. That is Zoom mirroring your own preview. Everyone else sees it the right way round.

Already in a call? Click the small arrow next to Start Video, choose the background and effects option, then add your image there. Teams and Meet both take the same file.

Three ways to help

None of them cost anything.

Wear the background

Every call you take is a room full of people who have not heard of this yet. That is the cheapest marketing that exists.

Tell one clinician

You almost certainly know a practitioner who is brilliant at the work and drowning in the business. Send her the link. That is the whole ask.

Come and find us

Social accounts are being set up now. When they are live they will be linked here, and that is where the movement will actually live.

If you run a practice yourself

Start with the scorecard.

Fourteen questions, about five minutes, and you will know which of the seven forces is actually holding you back. Your answers are calculated in your browser and we do not ask for your email.
